Who’s the cheapest?

This is the burning question for most wine buyers.  Wine customers generally know what they want to drink, they know what they like and what they don’t like.  The only question is where you can get your favourite wine at the cheapest price?

There are many good wine sellers around, both online and in shops.  All these retailers will, from time to time, offer special discounts on brand name wines.  Places like Dan Murphy’s and 1^st Choice are well known for their price cutting while Vintage Cellars and the Prince Wine Store give discount on larger purchases.

The online market seems even more crowded with long term retailers such as Winestar, Vintage Direct, Boccaccio and Aus Cellar Door all offering service and high end products.

Why are we telling you this?

Firstly, we know you know.  If you visit us then we know you visit them.

Secondly we want you to know that we know about them too.  We monitor our competitors to make sure we are as competitive as we can be, both in product terms and in the service we provide.

Thirdly, and most importantly, it means we can tell you, honestly, when ours is the cheapest price around on a particular wine.  We do this with an email we call the Stopwatch Special.

Every couple of weeks or so we will send out an email drawing your attention to a single product we know is the cheapest around.  The price we offer is so low that we can only do so for a limited period of time although we do not limit the amount of wine you can buy.
